DESCRIPTION
On the 7th of November 1996, a damaging and incontrolable fire started on the second floor of "Paços do Concelho" - the portuguese name for the building that houses the higher policies in a local perspective. Almost 100 years earlier, in the main balcony, the portuguese republic was proclamed, making this an iconic place in Lisbon, as well as in the country.
